Motion Gaming BFFs

The Kinect is fun, especially that one dance game. I have heard a lot of people saying that it is way better than the Wii, which I can understand, but it is not really a fair comparison. They both fall in the motion gaming category but are very different technologies. They aren't really trying to do the same thing, and are used for very different kinds of games.

That said, they both have deficiencies, they're incomplete. They belong together, two halves of one whole.

The Best Game Nobody Plays

Actually there are a lot of good games that don't get played as often as they should, for a variety of reasons, whether it be because they are on an older obscure platform, not released in your region, or just not that many copies of it floating around. The thing is that most people know that these are good games, even if they haven't had the opportunity to play them.

That is what makes this game stand apart from the others. This is a game that most people have played; it's just that no one realized how good it actually is.

Great Metroid: Other M Review

I read a really great article the other day about Metroid: Other M. Definitely worth reading if you have any interest in the series, or if you want to read about leading ladies in games.

It's something that I care about not only because Samus is a badass and Metroid is a great series, but also because of the special relationship Metroid has with one of my other favored series: Castlevania. It is always kind of sad when something gets popular because of the prevailing tendecy for the quality to drop. Hopefully the series can stay on track and keep up the high standards it has had to this point.
